INGREDIENTS 8 Servings

3 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon

Ground White Pepper

2/3 cup milk

3 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS 1 How to Make Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Put potatoes in a large pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat to low; cover and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft enough to pierce with a fork. 2 Drain and put potatoes back in the pot on low heat. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mash with a potato masher, slowly adding milk, then butter. Mix in cheese.
