Put on some music, a podcast, or an audiobook you want to listen to.  It should be something fun. Then set a timer for two hours, and you are ready to begin.

5 MINUTES – Strip every bed in the home and put the dirty linens in the washer.

5 MINUTES – Get a laundry basket and quickly go through every room in your home.  If an item does not belong in that room, put it in the laundry basic.  Now is not the time for organizing.  Just put them in the laundry basket and put them away as quickly as you can.

15 MINUTES – Tackle the kitchen. Load up the dishwasher with all the dirty dishes.  Hand wash any dishes that won’t go in the dishwasher, as well as pots and pans.  Put away any clean dishes. Next, wipe down the countertops and sink.

10 MINUTES – Vacuum the floors – all of them.  Do this quickly as you only have 10 minutes.

10 MINUTES – Tile, vinal, and hardwood floors should be moped. Do this now.

10 MINUTES – Using an all-purpose cleaner, wipe down the bathrooms. It would help if you moved from cleaner to dirtier fixtures. A good order would be mirrors, countertops, and faucets.  Next, scrub the toilet; if you have a shower curtain, close it.  Put fresh hand towels in the bathroom.  Check the hand soap and toilet paper and restock as needed.

10 MINUTES – Grab an all-purpose cleaner and wipe down the bathrooms. Start with mirrors, countertops, and faucets, then scrub the toilets. Close the shower curtain and add a fresh hand towel. Make sure the toilet paper is stocked, and the hand soap is refilled.

5 MINUTES – Gather up dirty laundry sorting into two piles—one for clothes and one for towels. The sheets in the wash should be done by now.  Switch them to the dryer and start a new load of the laundry you just separated.

10 MINUTES – Take the items that you gathered in the laundry basket when you started. Put them away where they belong

15 MINUTES – Using a wood cleaning spray, quickly dust all the wood surfaces in your home.  Start at one end and do this quickly.  Remember this is a quick cleaning where you only have two hours.

10 MINUTES – Windows are next. Starting at one end of your home, use a glass cleaner to wipe all the glass surfaces quickly

10 MINUTES – The sheets in the dryer should be done by now. Unload the sheets move one load of laundry from the washer  and start drying that load. Add another load of laundry to the washer. Make all the beds using clean sheets.

5 MINUTES – You have earned a break.  Put your feet up, enjoy a cup of tea. Just remember you have clothes in the washer and dryer.  Set a timer to remind yourself of these.
